Here’s to 2020, and our perfect vision of food for thought.

Here comes 2020! And Edible Silicon Valley is ready to sharpen our vision for the future of food. What we did not expect was to uncover a vintage poster (below) that takes us “back to the future” to sum up the very goals we promote every season.

The poster was part of a century-old campaign to unite Americans behind their troops pre and post World War I, to make sure all had good food to eat. In 2020, these axioms take on new meaning as we embrace local food, healthy living, environmental awareness and growing our communities. And they are worthy of an Edible encore in our stories, and at your table, as we serve up local ways for you to eat, drink, grow and think with award-winning flavors and good-for-you food experiences.

We invite you to join our Edible Community as you subscribe, advertise, share and connect! We are firing up our engines and accelerating into the future with the best ways to discover, taste and connect with food and drink in the Bay Area.

Enjoy this Holiday Winter edition, our first issue of 2020—filled with winter entertaining tips and local, seasonal ideas to recharge and power up your palate, served up with some supercharged food for thought!

Local power!
