Fruit and Cheese Skewers

Cube up a couple of your favorite semi-soft or medium-hard cheeses and pair them with skewers of ripe summer fruit. My California cheese picks include Bellwether Farms Carmody and Cypress Grove Lamb Chopper. In the summer, skewer some grapes, strawberries and stone fruit. (In winter, you can use dried apples, apricots and pears.)

  • 4 ounces semi-soft or medium-hard cheese, cut into cubes
  • Grapes, strawberries and ripe stone fruit, cut into bite-size pieces

Preparation

Arrange the fruit on bamboo skewers. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 day before serving.
