Letter From The Editor: Savor & Share Fall Holiday 2017
There’s so much to savor and share here in the Valley of Heart’s Delight that spreads across the Bay Area Peninsula and South Bay hills, valleys and coastlines. In this season, the words savor and share bring special meaning to our collective dining tables, big or small, as we weave the enjoyment of food and drink with stories of gratitude and fond memories.
A table can bring together many things—a house full of family, a group of friends, a table for two—clinking glasses and enjoying a festive feast. A table might serve as a workspace for preparing the ingredients of holiday cooking and baking, or a setting for a special dining-out experience served up fresh and local. Whatever the crowd, occasion or location, we hope to give your table a little local food and drink inspiration, and invite you to the community table of giving and helping those in need.
