Spring is all about bringing those pops of color back into our lives–our gardens, our wardrobes, and most importantly, our food.

 

Say Peas!

What better way to start off a colorful spring than green? While a hearty split pea soup might be what comes to mind when you think of peas, they are also a great way to bring a lite and delicious pop of color to meals. The freshest California peas won’t be hitting farmer's markets until April, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start bringing in spring with these reci-peas!

 


Paint Your Plate

We are always looking for delicious ways to improve our health with the meals we make. In 2019, Rebecca Katz shared with us her anti-inflammatory eating philosophy of Painting Your Plate–expanding our food color palettes with a variety of colorful vegetables to soothe inflammation and promote overall health. We are looking back at this article for some inspiration for our weekday meals and find great easy ways to cook more with color!
