2015 Chardonnay, Santa Lucia Highlands, Escolle Vineyard – The 2015 Chardonnay derives from grapes planted in a relatively cool section of the Santa Lucia Highlands. With aromas of melons and pears, it tastes rich and complex with a slight hint of oak in the background. A classic Chardonnay.
2013 Pinot Noir, Santa Cruz Mountains, Fambrini Vineyard – Rexford is the only winery producing wine from this unique area in the mountains just west of Santa Cruz. Moderately dark in color with an expressive aroma of Pinot Noir, it tastes rich and complex. This wine was aged in French oak barrels and neither fined nor filtered. A superb example of Pinot Noir from the Santa Cruz Mountains.
2014 Tempranillo, Arroyo Seco, Meador Estate Vineyard – Accolades: 92 points, Editor’s Choice Wine Enthusiast. Arroyo Seco features a relatively cool climate and rocky, sandy loam soils that make it an excellent place to grow this uncommon variety. Rexford's Tempranillo has hints of leather and vanilla in its aroma and delicious fruit flavors of plum and blackberry.
