Paulette Phlipot is an award-winning professional editorial, commercial and fine art culinary photographer. Her photography has graced national and regional magazines, as well as nationally recognized cookbooks and is featured in her acclaimed “Food as Art” photographic exhibition.

Paulette is the photographer behind the vivid imagery found in the cookbook Ripe: A Fresh, Colorful Approach to Fruits and Vegetables (Running Press, 2011) with recipes organized by produce color and featuring both still-life fruit and vegetable art and recipe photography for the dishes created by Cheryl Sternman Rule, a Bay Area author and food writer.

Paulette recently relocated with her family from the majestic mountains and farm culture of Sun Valley, Idaho, to the coastal community of Half Moon Bay. She finds inspiration from the flourishing farms of the area and has turned her palette and lens to creating inspiring dishes and displays from her family kitchen and her local community-supported agriculture (CSA) harvest subscription boxes. Through her art, she strives to bring people closer to what they eat and to celebrate wellness.
