Marianna Zavala

Hailing from Napa, Marianna Zavala fell in love with the outdoors at her grandparent’s ranch in Wooden Valley. From childhood till now, she claims to have "always found some way to end up covered in dirt or surrounded by animals." After earning her B.S. in agricultural communications at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and working at Swanton Pacific Ranch in Santa Cruz, Marianna started her current position, marketing for PCFMA.

When she is not in the office writing or out in the field gathering stories for Digital Dirt: A Virtual Farm Experience, she can be found hiking, fostering piglets, or eating as much Vietnamese food as possible.
