SAVOR HARVEST'S FIRST PICKS. FARM STANDS AND FARMERS MARKETS ARE HARVEST-READY

It’s the last hurrah for juicy late-summer produce and the time to roll out the red carpet for early fall arrivals: Asian pears, sweet potatoes, persimmons, artichokes and a variety of greens—chard, arugula, kale and collard greens—are some of the seasonal selections on the menu.

Our farmers markets bring all this produce together, but don’t miss out on the freshest picks, preserves and pies from the local farm stands and family farms—like LJB Farms in San Martin, Andy’s Orchard in Morgan Hill, Pie Ranch in Pescadero, B&R Farms in Hollister and J&P Cosentino Family Farm with farm stands in San Jose and Morgan Hill. Plus, Cosentino is rolling out some pickled pleasures and granola from their Farm Kitchen, which boasts a family chef at the helm. Yum!

VOTE FOR YOUR MARKET. THE 2022 AMERICA'S FARMERS MARKET CELEBRATION IS HERE!

Don’t miss your chance to vote for your favorite farmers market in the 14th annual America’s Farmers Market Celebration. Help your market win a piece of the $10,000 prize pool! Voting ends September 19.

AFMC is presented by American Farmland Trust and the Farmers Market Coalition.

GET OUT AND EXPLORE. SEPTEMBER 24 IS NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY—FREE ADMISSION TO NATIONAL PARKS

An extra bit of news on your way out—out the door and into the wild, we hope! For those taking a break from the art + wine festival hubbub, make plans to visit a national park for free on National Public Lands Day Saturday, September 24.
