Downtown San Carlos Summer Wine Stroll
Bay Area wine enthusiasts are preparing to descend on Downtown San Carlos to say cheers during the city’s first wine stroll of 2017. The San Carlos Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Mid-Peninsula Wine Trail for the upcoming Summer Wine Stroll scheduled for Sunday, June 11th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Wine Stroll made its debut last December. There will be 700 tickets available for the June event, with each visitor receiving a keepsake wine glass donated by Domenico Winery in San Carlos.
Twenty San Carlos merchants and businesses will open their shops as pouring locations, pairing with 21 wineries who will showcase their varietals and blends. Merchants will partner with local restaurants to provide light bites to nibble while strollers taste. There will also be a “bottle booth” on premises so wine walk participants can purchase any of the wines that are being sampled that day.
