Organic Berry Farming & U-Pick at JSM Organics

This field day is for growers of all kinds, from farmers to home gardeners!

There will be plenty of educational opportunities to learn about strawberry production, including the use of biodegradable plastic row covers, no-till research, and marketing. Hear from JSM Organics owner Javier Zamora, as well as Pam Krone and Jasmine Munoz from the California Marine Sanctuary Foundation. A Mexican-style lunch will be included along with 3 pints of organic strawberries to take home. All attendees will have the opportunity to pick their own strawberries. Artichokes, flowers, cilantro, lettuce, and sugar snap peas will be available for purchase.
