Pacific Catch - Seafood Served Up The Smart Way
Living in California, we get to eat fresh seafood. That's Pacific Catch for you. Hawaiian Poke, Rice Bowls, Sushi Rolls, Tacos, Salads and Sandwiches are all prepared with fish caught locally from the Pacific Ocean.
When I visited the Chestnut Street location in San Francisco, Aimee recommended the swordfish, one of the Daily Catch menu items—so of course I ordered it. Not only was it fresh and deliciously smothered with tomato sauce and lemon, it was a nice portion to split with a friend. Every dish from the kitchen proved a fish lover's heaven. (Which also makes for a perfect bird's eye view Instagram photo!)
Along with seafood, I'm a sucker for dessert. When Aimee recommended the fried cheesecake to complete the meal, my girlfriend and I glanced at each other with eyes wide, nodding YES! Fried cheesecake?! I had never tried it before and it was the perfect, crispy and creamy surprise ending to such a flavorful experience.
In addition to great food and an accommodating staff, we noted Pacific Catch's commitment to sustainably sourcing its seafood to conserve natural resources. They partner with local fisherman and farmers and use what is seasonally available. And for another nod to sustainability, Pacific Catch recycles their fryer oil into bio fuel. (Does this mean fries are guilt-free?!)
Pacific Catch has six locations, including San Mateo and Mountain View.

Pacific Catch is committed to being a positive force in the communities we serve. We support local events and programs and work hard to control our environmental impact.
Community Support:
Pacific Catch is dedicated to being an active member in our communities. From our staff volunteer outings, to opening events that highlight a local nonprofit in our new neighborhood, we believe in giving time and financial support where we do business.
Environmental Responsibility:
Pacific Catch is committed to being responsible environmental stewards.
We do this by serving sustainably sourced seafood and striving to conserve natural resources, reduce waste and recycle in our daily practices.
We partner with companies with responsible methods of catching wild fish, and farmed fisheries that raise fish under the most environmentally friendly growing conditions and who use quality feed, free of antibiotics and hormones. We support local fisherman and farmers by providing local products when seasonality and availability permits.
We partner with local companies and organizations to recycle our fryer oil into bio fuel and compost all food waste in addition to our disposable, compostable eating utensils and straws.
We also employ green building techniques in our new locations, including LED light bulbs, hand dryers, aerators on faucets, water-saving toilets and drought resistant landscaping.
