Annamarie Higley grew up in the heart of Silicon Valley, where she considers herself fortunate to have cultivated a profound appreciation for nature's beauty, cultural diversity and incomparably delicious food. Annamarie is currently pursuing a degree in magazine editing from the notable Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. For Edible Silicon Valley, Annamarie works as an editorial intern, assisting in copyediting, writing, research and promotion. Equally as adventurous outdoors as she is at the dinner table, Annamarie can often be found exploring California's Central Coast or trying (and snapchatting) funky new foods in her free time.
