What's Cooking In Willow Glen?

  Local Scoop: Many of Silicon Valley’s popular restaurants started in Willow Glen before expanding to additional locations. Willow Street Pizza, Opa, Aqui, Icicles and Tac-Oh all got their start within a quarter of a mile of each other, on Lincoln Avenue and Willow Street.

• 20Twenty Cheese Bar, Local Scoop: Street events on “The Avenue” are regular happenings in Willow Glen. The Spring Wine Walk is coming up on Saturday, April 22, 2–5pm.

• The Table, Local Scoop: Kids can learn to cook at Cucina Bambini, a handson culinary school for kids ages 3 and up. Older kids can even learn to roll sushi and make chicken tikka masala.

• Black Sheep Brasserie, Local Scoop: Jen Bell, founder of Jen’s Cakes, was one of the final three contestants on TLC’s “The Next Great Baker.” The shop specializes in stunning desserts and wedding cakes.
