Bordeaux Varietals Wine Tasting Class

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon are the seven major grapes found in Bordeaux today. All are highly prized and planted the world over.

We’ll be tasting both varietal wines and blends to better understand why these grapes are so highly prized, and what makes the Santa Cruz Mountains so special for (most of) these grapes. Move over, Napa!
