Homemade Créme Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces crème fraîche
  • zest from ½ small orange
  • squeezed orange juice for consistency
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Homemade Créme Cranberry Sauce

Preparation

 

Place sugar in a cold saucepan. Melt sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally, then add cranberries. Mix, cover and cook over low heat.

Cook cranberries until soft; remove from heat and let cool.

Once cooled to room temperature, add crème fraîche, orange zest and salt to mix. If mixture is too thick, add orange juice to desired consistency.

Serve with Lin Family’s Soy-Glazed Roasted Turkey or any holiday meat.
