Featured Wines:

2015 Overture – Overture is a blend of 45% Roussanne, 35% Grenache Blanc and 20% Picpoul Blanc, all of which were grown locally in the Santa Clara Valley. Roussanne provides the floral and honey notes, Grenache Blanc brings acidity and minerality, and Picpoul Blanc adds mouthfeel and hints of tropical fruit to the blend. Overture makes a perfect pairing for lobster and shrimp, roasted and grilled veggies or even an Asian stir fry.

2014 Prelude – Prelude is 55% Grenache Noir, 25% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre. The Grenache is the star of the show by providing abundant strawberry and red fruits to the nose and palate, Syrah brings darker fruit, musky aromatics and tannin, and the Mourvèdre ties it all together with its structure and backbone. This wine was blended while daydreaming of summer barbeques. Chicken, ribs, burgers or dogs — this bright, refreshing red wine has you covered.

2013 Rehearsal – Rehearsal is composed of 80% Syrah and 20% Carignane, both sourced from the Santa Clara Valley. In this blend, Syrah brings bold fruit with a hint of spice in the nose and dark fruit, smoke and black pepper to the palate. Carignane has been added to soften the often aggressive Syrah. Rehearsal is bold and playful and will fit perfectly into a summertime barbecue feast of ribs and other smoked meats.

Thérèse Vineyards 2012 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon – Accolades: Gold Medal, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition; 91 points, Wine Enthusiast. Featured Wines:

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon – For this classic Cabernet Sauvignon, the vineyards deliver a balanced structure and velvety texture, black cherry aroma, flavors of ripe plum and hints of licorice on the finish. Aged in once-used French oak barrels for 25 months, the Medeiros Family Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is dark and intense with round, ripe tannin. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel with the lingering taste of jammy dark fruit, spice and cocoa. It pairs well with beef, lamb and wild game.

2014 Saudade – The 2014 Saudade is full-bodied and smooth, including inviting aromas of black cherry, plum and vanilla on the nose. Layers of earthiness, dried flowers and cocoa integrate harmoniously into a finely balanced marriage between tannin and acid. The finish is long and lingering. Saudade drinks well now but will continue to develop complexity over time. It pairs well with chargrilled beef, smoked sausages and roasted root veggies. With cheese, try it with Manchego, Roquefort or Maytag blue cheese.

2014 Sangiovese – The 2014 Sangiovese has black cherry with undertones of dark chocolate and spice on the nose, accompanied with mild cedar and tar. It is a medium-bodied wine with good mouthfeel and balance alongside fine tannins. It's easy to enjoy now but will continue to develop complexity over time. Try it with with grilled chicken, spring lamb or beef stew.

2013 Santa Clara Valley Chardonnay – This lightly oaked wine lifts your spirits with a soft crispness of berries and cream and just a hint of vanilla at the finish. It's great with light summer fare or all by itself on a hot summer day.

Blackberry Merlot – A blend of Merlot and blackberry wine, this wine fills your mouth with the sweet taste of the blackberry, and then mysteriously disappears at the back of your mouth with a smooth, soft finish of the Merlot. Featured Wines:

2015 Chardonnay – Accolades: 2017 Best of Class of Region, CA State Fair. This 2015 Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay comes from a small vineyard above the town of Felton. Cool nights in this location ensure a well-balanced wine with bright acidity and luscious fruit. Old County Cellars uses 100% new French oak for fermentation and aging.

2014 Pinot Noir – Accolades: 2016 Silver Medal, CA State Fair. Whole-berry fermentation was used to preserve the delicate varietal character. This has resulted in a well-balanced, perfect expression of the Pinot Noir grapes and the Carneros region where they’re grown. The bright acidity in this wine should allow it to continue evolving for years in your cellar.

2015 Albariño – Accolades: 2017 Silver Medal, CA State Fair. This wine is absolutely bursting with lush tropical fruits. Passion fruit and pineapple combine with crisp acidity and aromatic notes of lemon peel and honeysuckle. Winemakers vinified this wine in 100% stainless steel, and it saw no malolactic fermentation. This is Old County's first Albariño vintage and will definitely not be their last.

A superb example of Pinot Noir from the Santa Cruz Mountains.

2014 Tempranillo, Arroyo Seco, Meador Estate Vineyard – Accolades: 92 points, Editor’s Choice Wine Enthusiast. Featured Wines:

2012 SCM Pinot Noir – Accolades: 2014 Silver Medal, SF International; 2015 Silver Medal, SF Chronicle; Silver Best in Class 2015, CA State Fair; 2015 Silver Medal, Pinot Shoot Out. This 2,000-foot-elevation-vineyard Pinot Noir is a big wine. Deep red colors combined with bold flavors produce a masculine Pinot. Subtle spices combined with a full mouthfeel offers a unique tasting experience. This is not your traditional Pinot Noir.

2014 Concerto – Accolades: Double Gold 2017, SF Chronicle; 2017 Gold Medal, CA State Fair. This Bordeaux-style blend from the Santa Cruz Mountains contains all five of the varietal planted to the Bordeaux region. 51% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 6% Malbec, 5% Petite Sirah, this is Russian Ridge's flagship wine. The Concerto is smooth and well-rounded with big flavors of raspberry and cherry.

2014 Fiddletown Zinfandel – 2017 Bronze Medal, SF Chronicle. 20% Ancient Vines. A vineyard, which has continuously grown wine grapes since 1857, has a block that was planted in 1900 and gives Russian Ridge 20% of the fruit in this wine. They add 5% Petite Sirah to make it a complex dark ruby-red wine that represents its heritage. Berries, pepper and spice are evident in this moderately big but never overwhelming Zin.

2014 Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir – Accolades: 91 points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Sarah's Vineyard grows fantastic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay but also makes small lots of wine from other notable growing regions. The Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir is grown just a few miles from the Sarah's Vineyard estate on the west side of the coastal mountain chain and shows the influence of the foggy cold ocean breezes. Featured Wines:

2013 Harmonic Convergence – Accolades: Double Gold Medal, SF Chronicle. A deep, dark blend of estate-grown Petite Sirah, Syrah and Zinfandel. They each spent two years in solitary oak confinement before these tempestuous varietals finally decided to play together. Now they’re the best of friends. (Although the Zin still insists on doing the Salsa while the other two are napping.)

2013 Oh So Zin – Accolades: Gold Medal, SF Chronicle. A zesty but mellifluous blend of four estate-grown Zinfandel clones – Primitivo, Deaver, Heritage and Foppiano. They spent two years together in French oak barrels getting to know each other so you can just relax and enjoy the blackberries.

2013 Joyous – Accolades: Gold Medal, SF Chronicle. Of course we’re obsessed with bodies. But “light,” “medium” and “full” tell us nothing useful. This wine says things like, “I have a voluptuous body," and, “My body swells with ripe fruit and dances in stilettos." Now we’re talking.
