Santa Clara County Parks Harvest Festival
The 3rd annual Harvest Festival will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00am-3:00pm at Martial Cottle Park.
Join for family friendly activities that celebrate the harvest season and the agricultural heritage of Santa Clara Valley!
Some of the activities planned include:
• Farm tours and fresh organic produce for sale with Jacobs Farm
• Shop for cool season veggies, succulents and ornamentals at Master Gardeners' Fall Garden Market
• Learn about composting with the Composting Education Program
• See live farm animals up close in the 4-H parcel and learn about 4-H programming
• Visit Our City Forest’s urban arboretum
• At the Cottle Cattle Corral, learn to rope a steer, milk a cow, and use a hay bale pulley system
• Attend partner workshops focused on gardening
• Pick out a pumpkin to paint or carve, and play games like pumpkin bowling
• Face painting
• Kids' music
• Crafts
• Petting zoo
• Shop with San Jose Made, local food makers and artisans
• Food and agricultural exhibitors
