Susan Bell, UCCE Master Gardener since 1996, has been growing organic food around her home since 1972. She creates a welcoming environment for a living web of life that provides free gardening services! Sue will show you how to grow edibles with ornamentals in a beautiful garden setting. Potatoes growing by the front door? Tomatoes growing on tree peonies? In among the flowers and looking like ornamentals, too? Oh, yes, she creates gorgeous gardens, and all organic. She professionally designed and landscaped hundreds of homes throughout the Bay Area over the last 18 years and will share pictures of her edible/ornamental garden near Alum Rock Park as well as some tricks to get your summer garden growing faster. At the end of the talk there will be a seed and plant exchange; if you have any seeds or plants to share, please do bring them.
