Pie Ranch Fundraiser: Gathering In A Garden
Join members and friends of Slow Food South Bay for a small, elegant dinner party on Friday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds will help founders of Pie Ranch, Nancy Vail and Jered Lawson and their two children, attend Terra Madre in Italy in September.
Setting for the event is a private home in Los Altos Hills, address given to registered guests. Menu features seasonal ingredients, including Pie Ranch pie, oh my! All inclusive tickets are $145 per person.
The evening creates an opportunity to learn the story of Pie Ranch from Nancy and Jered. Hear about their work to prioritize health and justice through food, farming and building community. Learn about the formation of Pie Ranch youth programs, farmer training programs and the array of partnerships they’ve developed over the last 14 years.
Pie Ranch is a unique and beautiful farm on the San Mateo County coast. The chance for founders to attend Terra Madre, Slow Food’s international gathering in Italy, means that Pie Ranch will be part of a major exchange of good farming practices and good will.
