A Mountain Harvest
Celebrate harvest with a festive weekend at the wineries – featuring the pairing of food with our mountain wines. Local chefs will prepare delicious bites with local produce. The emphasis is on local, sustainable, organic. Each winery will offer a different pairing and harvest-themed experience, so visit us all!
The five wineries along Summit Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains invite you to celebrate the harvest with a festive weekend at the wineries that includes food pairing with fresh local produce prepared by local chefs. The weekend’s festivities also includes vineyard and crush tours, barrel tastings, live music, local artisans and excellent mountain wines – all set in the dramatic mountain and forest views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Each winery will offer a different experience celebrating the harvest, so visit them all!
Wine and food pairing at each winery:
~ At Silver Mountain: pairing with Nonno’s Restaurant, Redwood Estates on Saturday; wine and food on Sunday; plus, live music and artisan vendors. Views over the mountains to Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay from the amphitheater or deck; tour the organic vineyard and sustainable winery.
~ At Wrights Station: pairing with Chef Tanya DeCell, Original Sins Desserts. Enjoy the mountain and forest panorama from the patio; bocce ball.
~ Burrell School: pairing with Chef Desirée; plus live music from the Wild Cat Mountain Ramblers. Sip your wine on the deck overlooking the vineyard and mountains.
~ Villa del Monte: wine and food pairing with artisan cheeses. Forest views and award-winning wines.
~ MJA: pairing with tomatoes from Birdsong Orchards and Bread from Manresa Bread. A Pumpkin Patch with music and art and jewelery vendors on both Sat and Sunday. Enjoy this cabin in the woods and the Aloha hospitality. In addition, Muns Vineyard and Radonich Brothers Vineyard will be pouring their wines at The Summit Store.
Note: Wrights Station and Burrell School open at 11:00.
