Greenhouse Gardening of Tropical Fruits- Plants- and Flowers

This class will touch on types of greenhouses, construction materials, irrigation, and heating options. Plant selection will focus on tropical flowers, including orchids, fruit trees, and other tropical plants.

Presenter Master Gardener Michael Klein: Michael joined the San Mateo/San Francisco Master Gardener program in 2011. He has conducted pruning and grafting clinics, and became an Edible Landscape Trainer in 2012. He has spoken at gardening events on topics such as alliums, container gardening, and shade maps. He has attended cooking classes around the world and his garden includes many unique herbs, vegetables, and tropical fruits and flowers.
