Would you love to harvest cut flowers from your garden this Summer? Learn how to plant and maintain a cutting garden in this workshop! From preparing the soil and planning your garden space, to choosing what to plant, and finally planting. Participants will learn the basics of planting a cutting garden, help us plant seedlings in our ornamental beds at Martial Cottle Park, and plant seeds of their choice to take home to start their own cutting garden with!

This class is limited to 20 people. Register for this workshop to reserve a place.

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and bring a hat, as the class will be held outdoors in our Pavilion and in the garden. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are recommended. Please bring a trowel, a kneeling pad, and gardening gloves. Arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or you can park on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
