Did you know that seaweeds are also called sea vegetables?  They are nutritional powerhouses packed with protein, vitamins and minerals that are super rich in iodine, calcium, folic acid and magnesium, as well as iron, potassium, and pantothenic acid.  However, most people today have strayed away from including them in their every day diet.  This class aims to change that by showing you how to utilize fresh sea vegetables harvested just up the coast from Santa Cruz.  Come hungry and ready to learn!
